Couple of Things...

Today is hard to wrap my mind around things going on at work...so I thought I need to take a few minutes to update my blog.

I really want to wish our little neighbor Jack a Happy Birthday...he turned 2 on Monday...and I know how important 2 is! :) Happy Birthday Jack - hopefully we'll see you out and about this weekend.

SHOCKER: The kids are sick this week. Sydney has/had pink eye and sinus infection and Ian has an ear infection. Awesome. What next!? Because Lord knows I can take it!

Ian's first day at Little Dumplings was on Monday and he is doing well! The first day he only took two 30 minute naps but yesterday he was a champ and did awesome! New place, new people, new beds...you get it.

David's at a trade show in Chicago this week and I just received word from him that he too has a cold and thinks he is getting pink eye. This is almost comical at this point...you can't make this stuff up, honestly!

I have off on Friday...not for Good Friday but because in order to reduce expenses and weather this economic situation without laying people off...we have to take 5 days of mandatory unpaid vacation days. I am okay with it. Working with the same people for 4 years now, you get attached and I would hate for anyone to lose their job, especially now. So a shopping we will go...a hi ho...a hi ho!

Have a great week - Happy Easter - for once neither side of our families have anything planned. So I almost feel like it's not even happening!
