"Daddy Go?": Daddy's Little Girl

Break my heart. As if it isn't hard enough to have your husband out of town for your own companionship, your child has to start understanding and realizing that their Daddy is away.

Sydney woke up in the middle of the night screaming and I rushed in there (just got Ian back down) and she looks at me through her crib and said..."Daddy Go?" Well those tears were the hardest to hold back. So I scooped her up and brought in our bed and she rolls over to David's side of the bed, sprawls out and plants her face in his pillow and falls back to sleep. Only to wake 20 minutes later when Ian got up again but that's another post. :)

I love to sit back and watch her develop her emotions and thought processes about everything. She knew that Daddy's side of the bed would provide her the comfort she needed when typically lying beside me would.

He will be home soon honey...I promise! Not even 13 inches of snow could keep him away.

Good Night...
