This and That...

So it's been a while...I know. As many of you know, I have been traveling for work. Since this was last updated, I have been to D.C., Syracuse, Branford, Danbury, Boston, Manchester and all cities in between. We covered a lot of territory in Northeast. No, I don't have a mouse in my pocket; "We" being my co-worker, Dan.

Traveling was great but I am exhausted. I think I came home and went to bed after putting Ian down at 7:30.

So here I am; I'm Baaack!! MUAH!!!

Today's picture is really cute. My friend sent this me in an email and it's so perfect. Not just for Mothers, but I think Fathers will be able to relate as well.



News with Sydney: She turned 2! We had her birthday party and it was a blast! My friend Megan posted birthday pictures of the "over-the-top" party on my Facebook page. Poor Sydney was a little sick at the time but handled it like a champ! She cried when we sang to her, which wasn't a huge surprise. I am still doing the thank-you cards for the party so everyone who got her the awesome and unnecessary gift, hang tight - they are on their way!


So I keep saying she's 2 going on 16. And it's the truth. She's got the mannerisms and the attitude to boot. She's become closer to David, which sort of makes me sad but know that that type of thing comes and goes. We have some QT coming up this week so that should be the cure all. I hope...


News with Ian: He's 6 months (going on 7 now!) and doing great! He's sitting up, eating solids, gumming bitter biscuits and is ALL SMILES ALL THE TIME. David likes to take him to Starbucks because Ian is a people magnet and that way David can get some serious visiting in! I feel for David; working out of the house when you are people person can be quite the drag.

As soon as we can figure out what is going on with the camera and downloading images to our computer, I'll add some recent photos of the kids.


On a sunnier note: It's 70 and sunny here today!! HOORAY!!! It's amazing what a little sunshine and heat can do for your mood!
